ALLAN CRAGG

Allan has a set of old Allspeeds so may fit them for the next race. I think this is a good idea as they can run pipes in the rules. Allan wont be doing all the tracks as some are just to far and the time to get there and the cost is to much. "Racing is not cheep at the best of times some times the cost of getting there can add a lot to days racing"

The bike is an Ex Jerry pell rent a racer. In need of a bit of TLC, The bike runs Avon AM22 130 rear and 110 front. He was runing 16/39 on the sprockets. The bike had a damper fitted you cant ride with out one not on an LC no no no. It had an Air cooled tackho the other Ex pell rent a race had the same tacho fitted. It had no temp gauge fitted but had the plug for one was so I expect it broke and was never replaced. Allan does not know what has been done to the bike at this stage as he has not striped it yet. He runs 2 disks withbraded steel hosing and clipons and it has a cut down seat to give a lower ride haight "this helps a lot in corners"

This is Alan from Applebey in Cumbria.

This may have been Allan's first race on the LC but he is not new to racing bikes. Allan used to race pit bikes last year and got a 2nd place in the Pit bike British champion ships.

He was at the track with his Hot looking sister who talked him into giving LC racing a go this year. His sister has been racing Kwak AR50's for 5 years and his dad allso racers so Racing is in the family, I have no doubt when he fines his feet he will be at the front tusseling with the best of them.

This was Allans first race on his LC. The Orange vest is to show others he is a novis. Its a bit like the P some car drivers have to let you know to give them a little more care.

This is Allan riping around the Buss stop just after the hair pin.
